One of my predictions for 2017 is the increased deployment of Thermal Camera Technologies & Video Analytics ( Hot Spot Analytics - see below ) in 'Safety-Critical' Environments.
Utilising the versatility of MOBOTIX AG Video Analytics, Hot Spot Analytics & their Dual Thermal Technology for fast track incident Detection & Heightened Situational Awareness in 'Safety-Critical' locations, it is likely to win more converts in 2017 from the 'traditional' Solutions currently being deployed.
Recently, MOBOTIX provided a software update free of charge to upgrade existing thermal cameras with thermal spot metering in the image center. This allows absolute temperature measurement within the total range of -40 °C to +550 °C and a typical accuracy of ±10 °C.
